The Membership Committee continually works to increase membership in our organization. The role of the committee is to act as a conduit for membership needs and to keep records and statistics on the members.

Membership Benefits
The Membership Committee works closely with the NSH office and other NSH Committees to review and incorporate new member benefits each year.  Current benefits can be reviewed by clicking here.

Members of the Membership Committee along with the Board of Directors and the NSH office staff the NSH exhibit booth at trade shows and state society meetings.  We use this opportunity to share the benefits of membership and the resources availble through NSH.  We also use it as a way to educate other health professions about histology and our organization.

Member Value Proposition
The Membership Committee works to understand the needs of the membership in order to provide members with as much value as possible. The member value proposition helps focus membership efforts on the areas that members identify as most important. Currently, the top priority for providing value to members is creating and providing access to knowledge, thus NSH positions itself as the premier source for expert knowledge and resources for the advancement of the histology professional. This includes providing services in the key areas of education, networking, career resources, and advocacy.
