Now Accepting Applications for JOH Editor in Chief

The National Society for Histotechnology is accepting applications for the Journal of Histotechnology Editor in Chief volunteer position effective for the September issue of the journal. The job description and announcements for this critical volunteer role is attached to this message. Please feel free to forward this message to interested parties.

For the past 11 years we have had the honor of having Karen Burg as Editor In-Chief for the Journal of Histotechnology.  She is leaving us knowing she will always be a member of the NSH family.  As with any life, some duties need to be taken off the list to accommodate family and work as it grows.

Dr. Burg has contributed so much to our journal and worked very hard to find the right publishers, the right editorial board, and the right way to publish.  Her ethical standards have kept the journal on a high standard that would meet the accreditation with a goal to  become indexed.  Her efforts required a lot of her time but she was very gracious in donating that time to the journal.

Dr. Burg wrote "I am ever so appreciative to the NSH for the opportunity to serve the members and will retain many positive memories and friendships".
